Deewaar: Let's Bring Our Heroes Home is quite an intriguing film, isn’t it? The whole premise revolves around Major Ranvir Kaul, portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, who's been a POW since the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The pacing is a mix of tension and emotional depth, especially when you get into Gaurav's quest to rescue his father after all those years. The themes of sacrifice and patriotism run deep, and you can feel that weight in the performances. It’s not your typical action-drama, there’s a somber tone that lingers throughout. The practical effects and the way the war scenes are staged, they give a raw edge to the film. It’s definitely a unique entry in the genre, blending personal stakes with larger national narratives.
Fascinating exploration of the father-son dynamic.Interesting take on war and its aftermath.Captures a mix of action and emotional storytelling.
