Dispatch is an interesting take on the horror genre, focusing on a 911 operator whose night spirals into chaos with a single call. The atmosphere is thick with tension, and you can really feel the weight of that responsibility on the operator's shoulders. Pacing is tight, keeping you engaged as the dread builds. It's got some solid practical effects that enhance the realism without overshadowing the story, which is refreshing. The performances are quite compelling, especially how they convey the sense of panic and urgency. What makes it stand out, for me at least, is the way it explores themes of isolation and helplessness in a situation where every second counts. Not your typical slasher, that's for sure.
