Dog Race is quite the eclectic mix, isnāt it? The film dances between action and drama, and itās really interesting how it captures the chaotic energy of crime in a way that feels both gritty and comical. Goro Kishitani's portrayal of Nakayama is something elseāhe's that charming detective who's got a bit of a reckless streak, which adds layers to his character. The pacing feels a bit frenetic at times, but maybe thatās just the vibe of the whole madcap premise. The practical effects are quite effective, lending a certain rawness to the scenes that CGI would miss. The themes of morality and corruption weave through the plot, making you think while you're entertained. It's definitely a unique piece in the realm of crime comedies from Japan.
Features a blend of action and comedy that feels fresh. The lead's performance really stands out in this mix of genres.Interesting take on the darker sides of society, wrapped in humor.
