So, Doll Killer 2 picks up 15 years after the first film, and it really leans into that cat-and-mouse vibe. Stephanie, our doll restoration artist, has moved to Southern California, but of course, Charlie Crandall isn't far behind. The tone is pretty tense, and the atmosphere feels both eerie and unsettling, which I think adds a lot of weight to the chase. Pacing is decent; it builds slowly, letting the dread creep in before any real action kicks in. The practical effects are a highlight, too—there’s something about the way they handle the doll scenes that feels raw and gritty. Performances? They do the job, but it’s really the mood and visual flair that stand out here.
