Dream Witch is an interesting slice of early 2000s horror, really plays with the whole 'be careful what you wish for' trope. Glori-Anne's transformation from the awkward ugly duckling to a seductive beauty is both fascinating and eerie. The pacing is a bit uneven, but it adds to the unsettling atmosphere, especially when her newfound power starts to unravel. Practical effects give it a raw edge that enhances the horror elements. The performances are solid; you can feel the desperation and later the dread in Glori-Anne's character. It’s got a unique charm, and while it might not hit all the right notes, it leaves you with some interesting themes about self-worth and the cost of vanity.
