dreamtext is this intriguing exploration of identity and movement, really. The film has this ethereal quality, drifting through images of Israel while Cheryl Nayowitz's dance seems to weave in and out of the scenery. The Holon Scratch Orchestra’s spoken words and the Gray Code music add this haunting layer, making it all feel like a collective dream. There’s a certain pacing to it, kind of slow, allowing you to absorb each frame, each sound, which I think really enhances the viewing experience. It’s distinctive in its approach, combining visual poetry and soundscapes in an almost abstract way. You can feel the passion behind it, but it’s also an invitation to reflect on belonging and the essence of place.
