Duel's Errand is this quirky blend of comedy and Western that really leans into the absurdity of a duel over something as trivial as pride. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, but the chemistry between Dexter and Oswald keeps things lively. They sort of bumble their way through the whole preparation process with Anne's oddly practical advice. The practical effects are minimal, but there's a charm to the way they handle their showdown β it's more about the characters than the spectacle. It's distinctive in how it juxtaposes the seriousness of a duel with the light-hearted absurdity of their situation. Totally different take on the Western genre, really.
