Dying for the Crown is one of those TV thrillers that captures a certain small-town tension. The reunion setting creates this nostalgia, but it's quickly layered with unease as Isabelle faces her old rival, Andrea. The atmosphere is thick with suspense, and you can feel the weight of unresolved high school drama. The pacing is steady, giving just enough time for the characters to breathe, allowing you to really settle into their motivations. The performances are solid, particularly the tension-filled exchanges between the leads. It's not groundbreaking, but there's something distinctive about how it explores themes of rivalry and obsession in a familiar, almost claustrophobic setting.
