Dynamic Venus is one of those quirky animated films that catches you off guard. It cleverly juxtaposes the mundane life of an abused housewife with the wild fantasy of her being an alien super heroine. The pacing is a bit off at times, but it adds to the overall surreal feel, making you question reality versus appearance.
