So, 'Dynamite' is a wild ride. The premise is a bit zany β you've got these two guys defending their firework store, and it gets pretty absurd, but in that charming way only a comedy can pull off. The pacing is interesting, it bounces between goofy banter and these tense moments where you really feel the stakes, even if it's all in good fun. The practical effects are a highlight; some of those fireworks scenes are surprisingly well done, making you appreciate the effort that went into them. Performances are solid, too; the chemistry between the leads carries the film, and there's this underlying theme about loyalty and friendship that sneaks up on you. Not groundbreaking, but definitely distinctive in its execution.
