eLmno is this fascinating creature of a documentary, pulling from that pirated Lemon rip - you know the one. It takes Hollis Frampton’s original meditation on light and form and messes with it, like a digital collage that plays with our perceptions. The pacing is erratic, but in a good way; it keeps you on your toes. You never quite know what’s coming next, and that uncanny feeling it evokes is hard to shake. There’s something raw about its practical effects, almost a glitchy charm that feels intentional. There's a sense of unease woven throughout, which makes it distinct. If you're into experimental cinema, this one has a vibe that's hard to ignore, even if it's not for everybody.
