Eternal Hunting Grounds is quite the intriguing piece from 2016. Elin Grimstead's animation style, with those multi-level glass tables, creates a unique visual narrative. The atmosphere is a blend of whimsical and dark, which really draws you in. The story follows two kids on their quest to eliminate death, of all things, while crafting their own funeral rites for the animals they discover. It feels both innocent and haunting at the same time. The pacing is deliberate—slow enough to let you soak in the visuals and themes of loss and remembrance but engaging enough to keep you invested. Not your average fairy tale, that's for sure. Worth checking out for its originality and artistic approach.
