Everlasting Hate is a grim little horror piece that captures that raw, unsettling atmosphere of desperation and violence. It’s not polished, which actually adds to its charm. You’ve got this group – an unhappy couple, two ruthless thugs, and a lost young man – all thrown together in a decrepit house. The pacing feels almost suffocating at times, which really ramps up the tension. The performances are rough around the edges but they bring a certain authenticity that fits the film's bleak tone. The practical effects, while not groundbreaking, are effective enough to evoke discomfort. It’s certainly a film that lingers with you, tapping into themes of survival and moral decay without ever giving you a clear hero to root for.
