So, 'F-Stops' is this intriguing blend of comedy and crime that dives into the chaotic pursuit of creative ambition. Gabe, our protagonist, is really just a guy with a vision, but – man – he’s got no budget. His decision to start robbing convenience stores to fund his film is both ridiculous and kind of brilliant, in a twisted way. The guerilla-style shooting adds a raw, almost gritty feel to it that you don't see often. There’s this tension between humor and the seriousness of crime that keeps you guessing. The performances, especially from the thief Gideon, really bring the energy. The pacing might feel a bit erratic at times, but it mirrors Gabe's frantic journey. A unique take on the lengths one goes for their art, for sure.
