FairyTale: A True Story has this odd, almost dreamlike quality, which really pulls you in. The film, set in 1917, follows two kids who take those famous photos that supposedly prove fairies exist. It's a mix of drama, family warmth, and a touch of fantasy that creates a unique atmosphere. The pacing is gentle, letting the story breathe, which I kind of appreciate. The performances from the young leads are sincere, capturing that innocent curiosity about the world. And while some effects might not hold up completely, they do have a charm that complements the whimsical nature of the story. It's more about belief and imagination than the actual fairies, which is what really stands out.
Captivating exploration of belief and imagination.Unique period setting reflecting early 20th century.Interesting blend of drama and fantasy elements.
