Falling (2021) is quite the experience, really. It’s this unique blend of animation and dance; the visuals are almost surrealistic. The way the characters move—there’s something fluid and haunting about it. The pacing feels meditative, inviting you to soak in each frame. You get a sense of longing and introspection throughout, which is really what sets it apart. The practical effects used give it an ethereal quality; it feels like you’re stepping into a dream. There isn’t much dialogue, but each movement tells its own story. The atmosphere is thick with emotion, which, for me, makes it a standout in the realm of animated films. Not your typical flick, that's for sure.
