Family Reconstruction is a rather unsettling exploration of familial bonds and the complexities of love. Gwang-sik and Hae-ra's characters are portrayed with a mix of warmth and fragility, while their children, Myeong-ho and Dal-rae, traverse a confusing landscape of emotions—innocence clashing with burgeoning desires. The pacing might feel languid at times, but it allows for an immersive experience in their lives.
