Fear No Evil is an interesting piece from '81 that dives into the whole good versus evil trope but does so with quite a unique twist. You have this teenager, Andrew, who’s not just your average outcast; he’s actually Lucifer in disguise. The premise alone sets up a really cool tone. As he unleashes his darker side, the film marries typical high school angst with some genuinely eerie moments. The pacing can feel a bit off at times, but it’s that kind of slow burn that lets the atmosphere build. There's some decent practical effects that stand out, and while the performances are mixed, Andrew's portrayal of a tortured soul is intriguingly compelling. It’s definitely a film that sticks in your mind for its unusual take on horror themes.
