Final Flesh is a bizarre blend of comedy, horror, and science fiction that really challenges conventional storytelling. You’ve got the Pollard family, sitting around talking about their doom, which is just unsettling yet absurdly funny. The dream sequence where Mrs. Pollard bathes in 'Tears of Neglected Children' really gets you thinking about the strange juxtaposition of light and dark themes. The pacing is unorthodox, kind of languid at times, but it really sets a unique atmosphere. The performances feel intentionally awkward, which only adds to the film's odd charm. And those practical effects? They’re a mix of both unsettling and absurd, really leaving a mark. It’s one of those films that stays with you, not because it’s polished, but because it’s just so damn different.
