Fool is an interesting blend of horror and character study, with this unique premise of a Vietnam vet encountering a cursed jester's spirit. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and you can really feel the weight of Phil's past as it warps the present. The pacing has its lulls, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it adds to that unsettling vibe. Practical effects are used sparingly but effectively, creating a tangible sense of horror that CGI often lacks. The performances are a mixed bag, but I think they add to its charm, especially in how they reveal the family dynamics under pressure. It’s definitely one of those films that leaves you thinking about legacy and the hidden evils that can haunt a family.
