So, Found Footage Dracula kind of flips the script on the whole vampire genre. Shot entirely in that raw, shaky cam style, it captures the eerie tension of people trying to document this elusive vampire. The performances are surprisingly compelling, giving a real sense of dread and urgency, especially when you consider how the characters react to their own disbelief. The pacing is sort of uneven at times, which might frustrate some, but honestly, it adds to that unsettling atmosphere. The practical effects used for the vampire β or should I say lack thereof β really play into the film's themes of fear and the unknown. Itβs that sort of haunting ambiguity that lingers long after the credits roll.
