So, Freek de Jonge's "Circus Kribbe" is an interesting piece from 2013, right? It follows Job Kribbe—a clown who's not even remotely funny, which is kind of a wild premise. I mean, the guy's from a lineage of clowns, and yet he’s on this quest to figure out why he doesn’t fit the mold. The journey takes us through some classic cities—Moscow, Paris, Hollywood—where he encounters all these quirky characters. There's a nice mix of comedy and a kind of existential pondering that keeps you engaged. The pacing’s a bit uneven at times, but that feels intentional. It adds to this offbeat charm. And, man, the performances, especially de Jonge's, really bring this oddball world to life.
