So, 'Fresh Face 20 Years Old' is an interesting watch in the documentary genre, focusing on Kae Haruna's debut. There’s this almost voyeuristic quality to it; you get a sense of her nervous excitement mixed with innocence. The pacing feels casual, almost like a behind-the-scenes look at her transition into the AV world. Themes of youth and the often blurry line between innocence and experience are palpable. Kae herself—she’s got this loli-type allure, very slender and delicate, though the cover art doesn’t do her beauty justice. It’s a bit of a shame that MOODYZ isn’t keeping her exclusive, given her captivating presence.
This film has seen some varied cover formats, but the initial release has been the most sought after among collectors. Its scarcity stems from the fleeting nature of Kae’s early work, as she quickly branched out. Interest is still strong, especially with her not being exclusive to one label, which could lead to shifts in her collector value over time.
