So, "From Russia with Love" is the second Bond flick and it really starts to carve out that classic Bond vibe. The pacing is tight, moving from Istanbul to Budapest with a sense of urgency that keeps you engaged. Terence Young’s direction gives it a gritty yet stylish feel, and you can see the groundwork being laid for what Bond would become. The chemistry between Sean Connery and Daniela Bianchi is palpable, and you get a nice blend of espionage and romantic tension. Plus, that fight scene with the gypsy women? A bit of campy charm that lightens the mood. SPECTRE is starting to solidify as a formidable foe, and the practical effects hold up surprisingly well. It’s a solid entry that shows Bond beginning to evolve.
