So, Fun and Fury, huh? It's a peculiar mix of martial arts and slapstick comedy that really leans into its absurdity. The pacing is all over the place, bouncing from intense fight sequences to some outlandishly silly gags that don’t always land, but that’s part of its charm, I guess. The practical effects are pretty decent for the time, giving it a certain rawness that feels nostalgic. Performances are over-the-top, which fits the whole vibe. It’s neither straight-up action nor pure comedy, but somewhere in between, which makes it distinctive. There’s just this carefree atmosphere that kind of draws you in, even if you’re not sure what to make of it at times.
