Gangster Rock is one of those films that you watch and think, 'What was that?' It's a chaotic blend of music and life lessons, where the characters grapple with the idea that fame might not really matter much in the grand scheme. The pacing feels a bit uneven, like it’s trying to juggle too many threads at once. And the atmosphere is this weird mix of gritty realism and a kind of dreamlike quality, which gives it a distinctive edge. The performances are a bit hit-or-miss, but there are moments that really shine through the noise. It's not polished, which might turn some folks away, but for me, it's that rough-around-the-edges charm that makes it interesting to discuss among collectors.
