Goliath is quite an intense drama, set in a Swedish industrial town that feels almost claustrophobic. The atmosphere is heavy, thick with the weight of expectation and the harsh realities of life. Young Kimmie, thrown into his father's criminal world, captures that feeling of being overwhelmed, you know? The pacing is deliberate, almost torturous at times, which really lets you sit with Kimmie's struggles. Performances are raw and grounded, definitely not overdone, which adds to the film's authenticity. Its themes of coming of age in a world of crime and responsibility hit hard. There's no flashy effects or gimmicks; just people dealing with life’s tough cards. You might appreciate the gritty realism here.
Gritty realism in character portrayal.Heavy atmosphere complements the themes.Deliberate pacing enhances emotional weight.
