Green Lantern (2011) has its ups and downs, that's for sure. Directed by Martin Campbell, the film tries to blend action and special effects with some cosmic lore. The visuals are a mixed bag—some ambitious sequences stand out, but the reliance on CGI can feel a bit dated now. Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan brings a certain charm, though the script doesn't always give him much to work with. The pacing stumbles in places, especially when it dives into exposition. Still, the themes of overcoming fear and finding courage are genuinely interesting. If you're into the Green Lantern mythos or just enjoy a good superhero flick, it’s worth a watch, but it might leave you wanting more from the execution.
