Grizzly Park is an interesting blend of comedy and horror that often feels like a throwback to those slasher flicks from the 80s but with a twist. The setup is classic—troubled youths in a remote location, and the bear is almost like a metaphor for their inner demons, which adds a layer to the usual survival trope. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, but it builds tension well, and the practical effects on the bear are surprisingly decent for a low-budget film. The performances range from earnest to over-the-top, which somehow adds to the charm. You’ll find yourself laughing and cringing in equal measure, making it a memorable experience in its own right.
