Gyarakal is an interesting blend of comedy and familial conflict. The story revolves around Balohari Majumdar and his aspirations for his daughter Disha, who aims to be a great singer. The tension really builds when Disha's affection for her music teacher, Tablu, comes into play. Balohari's disapproval leads to some chaotic and comedic moments that reflect the sometimes absurd nature of parental expectations. The pacing has a nice flow with moments of humor juxtaposed with heartfelt scenes, highlighting the struggles between tradition and personal desire. The performances, especially from the lead actors, are quite engaging, bringing a certain authenticity to the film. It’s these nuances that give the film its unique charm, even though the director isn’t well-known.
