So, 'Hanuman Da Damdaar' is an interesting blend of animation and mythology. Directed by Ruchi Narain, you can tell there's a sort of earnestness in the storytelling. It revolves around Anjani, who is fiercely protective of her son, Hanuman. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, which might take you out of the experience, but it adds a certain charm, I guess. Themes of bravery, family bonds, and the struggle between fear and heroism really come through. The animation style, while not groundbreaking, has its own quirky appeal. You can appreciate how they attempt to marry traditional tales with a more modern sense of humor. Definitely distinctive in its portrayal of the Hanuman character, who here is more vulnerable than what you'd typically expect.
