Heart of a Lion is an interesting take on love and prejudice. The film dives deep into the psyche of a neo-Nazi, which you wouldn't expect to see vulnerable moments and a real struggle for redemption. The pacing can be a bit uneven; at times it feels like it rushes through key emotional beats but then lingers on others. The atmosphere is charged, and the performances really elevate the material. The lead does a commendable job of portraying a character caught in chaos, grappling with his own hate and the innocence of a child who isn't even his. It's not your typical romance, and that’s what sets it apart. Definitely a conversation starter, it challenges so many preconceived notions about love and acceptance.
