Hellbound is an interesting blend of action and horror that dives into the supernatural realm. The pacing feels a bit uneven at moments, but that adds to its unique charm—like a tangled web that’s hard to untangle. The chemistry between the two leads, Shatter and Jackson, brings a certain humor and tension that keeps things engaging. The practical effects used to depict the supernatural elements are pretty striking for a film of its time, giving it a gritty, tangible feel that CGI often fails to capture. Themes of faith and good versus evil spiral through the narrative, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. It’s almost like a buddy cop film but with demons, which is a distinctive twist you'd only find in the '90s.
