So, 'Homework' is this indie drama that really captures that aimless vibe of a Friday night, where a group of twentysomethings are just hanging out, trying to shake off their ennui. The atmosphere is almost suffocating at times, filled with the banter and tension that comes from being in close quarters with people who know each other too well. The pacing feels very natural, like you're just dropping in on their lives, which makes the mundane moments feel oddly poignant. There’s this shih tzu that kind of steals the scenes, adding a layer of absurdity to their frustrations. The performances have this rawness; they feel honest, sometimes almost cringeworthy, and that’s what makes it stand out. Definitely not your typical drama.
