House β15 is quite an intriguing documentary. It takes a unique perspective, telling the story of a family through the lens of their home over 40 years. The way it's shot from above, like the view from a kitchen chandelier, adds this almost voyeuristic feel to it. You get to see how the spaces they inhabit morph and change along with their lives, the little details reflecting the passage of time. The pacing is really deliberate, allowing you to soak in the atmosphere. It's pretty interesting how the spirit of the times seeps into their everyday moments. There's no flashy editing or gimmicks here, just raw, honest glimpses into family dynamics and the intimacy of a home. A real study of change and continuity, if you ask me.
