Human Resources is this strange little blend of comedy and horror that really leans into the absurdity of workplace dynamics gone horribly wrong. Bill's descent into madness on his first day back is played out with a sort of dark humor that’s as unsettling as it is entertaining. The pacing feels a bit off-kilter at times, which oddly works in its favor; it keeps you guessing what’s going to happen next. There are some practical effects that are surprisingly well done for a film of this scale, adding a layer of grit to the absurdity.
