I Love You. Shhh. You Don't Have To Say Anything. is a curious blend of horror and thriller that plays with the tension of obsession and isolation. Claudette King’s direction gives it a gritty atmosphere, and you can really feel the unease build as Scarlett’s world spirals out of her control. The performances are raw, especially from the leads, and Marcus’s character is unsettling in a way that lingers. There's a clever use of practical effects that heightens the eerie vibe without relying too much on CGI, which I appreciated. The pacing ebbs and flows, drawing you into Scarlett’s emotional turmoil while also keeping that sense of dread alive. It’s a distinctive take on teenage angst and the darker sides of infatuation.
