So, 'In Vino'... it’s an interesting mix of comedy, crime, and thriller that keeps you on your toes. The setup is kind of classic, wealthy couple hosting a dinner party, right? But then it takes a sharp turn when Charles, the husband, just drops dead after a toast. The dark humor is palpable, and Linda’s confession adds this layer of tension that makes you question everything. The pacing’s pretty tight, and the performances are surprisingly engaging for an indie. I mean, you can feel the atmosphere shift from festive to sinister, which is quite a feat. There’s a bit of practical effects in the later scenes that adds to the grim yet satirical tone. It’s distinctive, for sure, and has some moments that linger with you.
