Incident at Dark River is one of those TV movies that really gets under your skin. The atmosphere is thick with tension as Tim McFall, a father pushed to the edge, grapples with the devastation brought on by corporate negligence. The pacing is deliberate, allowing you to really feel the weight of his loss and the fallout from his quest for justice. The performances, especially from the lead, carry a raw intensity that reflects the desperation of the situation. And while it’s not loaded with flashy effects, the emotional impact of loss and obsession comes through loud and clear. It’s a gritty reflection on how far one might go when pushed, and the cost of that fight on personal relationships is hauntingly portrayed.
Great example of 80s TV movie tension.Solid performances that really ground the story.Interesting commentary on environmental issues.
