Inner Demon, directed by an unknown figure, really taps into that claustrophobic dread. The premise is straightforward but executed with a grittiness that I appreciate. A teenage girl gets kidnapped by a couple who seem like they could be right out of a nightmare, and when she escapes, you think she’s found salvation. But then, she stumbles into this isolated farmhouse, which is anything but a safe haven. The pacing is relentless, keeping you on edge as she uncovers the secrets lurking within those walls. The practical effects have a raw feel. Performances are solid, especially from the leads, who really sell the tension. It's one of those that lingers with you, making you question what’s lurking just out of sight.
Explores themes of survival and fear.Notable for practical effects and atmospheric tension.Pacing keeps the viewer engaged throughout.
