So, this is an interesting concert film. Samuel Thiebaut captures Ion Marin leading the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, and it’s a real treat to see Martha Argerich interpreting Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2. The atmosphere is quite engaging – you can almost feel the energy radiating from the orchestra. The pacing flows well, transitioning between the concerto and the lively Symphony No. 7. Marin's conducting style seems to bring out the best in the musicians, and Argerich’s performance, as always, is just stunning. It’s not just about the music; there’s a certain warmth and connection between the performers that’s quite special. Definitely a unique take on a classic repertoire.
