So, this is the 42nd installment of the ãIru.ã series, which by now has carved out its own little niche in the horror landscape. The atmosphere is thick with dread, as you'd expect, but what really stands out here are the practical effectsâthey've really leaned into that hands-on approach, which gives it a raw, unsettling vibe. Pacing is pretty deliberate, stretches out those moments of tension. Thereâs something about how it captures the mundane and twists it into something sinister that lingers. The performances are decent, capturing that sense of growing paranoia. It feels like a continuation of the series, but they still manage to inject something fresh into this volume. If youâre following the series, itâs definitely worth your time.
