It's Always Fair Weather is an interesting blend of music, comedy, and a touch of romance, directed by Stanley Donen. The film follows three WWII friends who reunite a decade later, only to find their lives have taken different paths. The atmosphere is a mix of nostalgia and bittersweet reality, with vibrant musical numbers that showcase Gene Kelly's dance prowess. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, but that lends a certain charm. I appreciate how it tackles themes of lost dreams and the passage of time. Plus, the choreography is a highlight β some really inventive visual storytelling. It's not your typical feel-good flick, it has depth and layers that might surprise you.
