Jeff Tremaine directs, and you can really feel the camaraderie among the guys, even with some new faces adding a fresh twist. The pacing ebbs and flows; some bits are quick-fire madness, while others let you soak in the absurdity a bit longer. Practical effects really shine here, with some gnarly, physical moments that you can tell are all in good fun, but also, pretty dangerous. They’ve really nailed that blend of comedy and cringeworthy moments; it feels like a celebration of reckless joy and friendship. You get the sense that this is a fitting send-off, with plenty of nostalgia woven in.
