So, 'Jason Goes to Hell' is a wild entry in the franchise. Directed by Adam Marcus, it takes a different turn by introducing this body-hopping twist on Jason. The pacing is uneven, but it ramps up with some intense moments and a surprisingly dark atmosphere. The practical effects are a highlight - you get some gnarly gore and inventive kills, typical of the series but with a fresh spin. The performances are... well, they vary, but it’s interesting to see how they handle the lore. It's distinct in how it tries to expand the mythos while balancing the slasher vibes, even if it doesn't fully hit the mark for everyone. Definitely a divisive one in the fandom, for sure.
