Jekyll & Hyde & Tears & Liquor is an interesting take on the classic tale. It mixes comedy with the darker aspects of Robert Louis Stevenson's story, and you really feel the conflict of good versus evil in such an unusual way. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, which I think adds to its charm. The performances are surprisingly engaging and bring a unique vibe to the characters. Practical effects are used creatively, giving it that quirky, indie feel. It’s a film that doesn't take itself too seriously while still exploring some heavy themes. There’s a lighthearted atmosphere that contrasts sharply with the underlying moral dilemmas, making it a distinctive entry in the genre.
