Ken Ryu, our 17-year-old protagonist, is a giant both in stature and spirit, engaging in boxing to support his family. The pacing can be a bit uneven at times, but it adds to the rawness of his journey. The practical effects in the fight scenes, while not groundbreaking, have a certain charm that reflects the era.
