Killing Hasselhoff is an interesting blend of dark comedy and absurdity, really. The story unfolds with this guy spiraling down—everything's gone, and the stakes ramp up when he decides he has to off Hasselhoff himself. The humor is pretty irreverent, poking fun at celebrity culture while also digging into desperation. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, but it works for the offbeat tone. There's some decent practical effects, especially in scenes that highlight the absurdity of the situation. The performances, particularly that of the lead, bring a certain charm to a ridiculous premise. It’s not your run-of-the-mill comedy, which gives it a unique spot in the genre.
