So, 'Lady Ninja: A Blue Shadow' really dives into a dystopian world where the economy's taken a nosedive, and it gives off this gritty, underground vibe. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, but that just adds to the chaotic atmosphere, I suppose. Aya and Chinatsu are secret agents fighting against this mega-corporation, Kuroda Group, which feels all too relevant today. The practical effects in the action sequences are decent for a film of its budget, and you can see there's an attempt to blend martial arts with sci-fi elements, which is always an interesting combo. The performances vary; some moments shine, while others feel a bit stiff, but that’s part of the charm, I guess. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill action flick.
