Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life feels like a continuation of the first film’s adventurous spirit, but it leans into more fantastical elements. Jan de Bont directs this sequel with a flair for striking action sequences, many of which were shot in striking real locations like Santorini. Angelina Jolie returns, embodying Lara with a confidence that has its own kind of charm. The film blends practical effects with CGI, creating memorable moments, especially in the sequences involving the mythical Pandora's Box. It's got a certain pace that keeps you engaged, even if the plot starts to meander a bit. The score by Alan Silvestri adds a nice touch, enhancing the journey without overshadowing the visuals.
Released July 2003, directed by Jan de Bont.Shot on location in Santorini and Kenya.Features a blend of practical effects and CGI.Score composed by Alan Silvestri.
